Re: Coming soon (although not soon enough)
3200 with 140's out of a swede---- is this a typo? I love the 6.5's, I think the 6.5 Weatherby would be an absolute laser. I would not like to think, however, of how long the barrel will last. I had a mate with a 30/378 Weatherby and I had read that the barel is good for about 800 rounds. I kept ask...

Re: 220 Swift Ack Imp
I did an improved Swift on a Ruger varmint. Had a few problems getting dies. The only dies I got were CH 4. Nothing wrong with the dies, but from memory had to wait a while. I wasn't after velocity when I had it rechambered, I just wanted a different hot shot 22 cal, as I already had another Ruger i...

Re: 6 mm dasher
Howdy fellas-- I've got a Dasher--- I wish I had of read Brad Y's advice before I started stuffin' around. I didn't bother with a tight neck-- just went standard. I too found that the false shoulder thing is not required. I'm using 95 gn bergers, the hunting/ target pill. These are no where near as ...

Re: 25 Camel
I think it's a great idea. I'm amazed the 25 Souper never caught on. 25 cal seems just about right for our thin skinned stuff

Re: 110gr vmax and 8208 in 308w
I tried the 110's Barnes triple shock with 8208 in my 7mm/08. Worked a treat. Didn't quite achieve the velocities stated. You can't get any deader than than dead.

6.5/06 with a 129 flogging out at 3050 fps. What load is that ? I've got flattened primers with a 123gn SST and only poking along at 2700 fps

Re: Case prep with a difference
I don't think anybody ever said 25,270 and the other 2 calibers would never be long range calibers------ it's just that the major projectile manufacturers don't make target projectiles for them. Good on you for having a go with your wildcat.

Re: Trail Cameras
Any time Aldi have specials-- wether it's a trail cam or a laptop,---- they sell out real quick. Some years ago, they advertised laptop computers--$990.00. Cheap as chips with the supplied software. I was on the doorstep at 8.00am and there was 8 people in front of me. The store was allocated 14 lap...
