Re: Sako L461 varmint stock - DIY
Very clever
I am as impressed with you jigs as much as I am with the stock
That is some work to be truly proud of
Am I correct that you bedded the action while you still had a "block" of wood with just the action and barrel channel milled out?

Re: 20/222
Thanks Camel and missed for the offer to try bullets but im not really good enough a shot to try too many components. Thought i might use a 55gn nosler. Just after a spotlighting gun for farm use and like something a little different Camel your dead right on basing it off the 222, im not after a 6x4...

Re: 20/222
I am watching this post with interest (not because i am sako or zastava bias or because i enjoy your witty reparte) but because i am genuinly interested. Does a ppc work on a 461 bolt or has it been opened up (hence butchered) so i assume its too much effort to build it bac up to 222 head size? Im g...

Re: Ruger no1 gunsmithing
Thanks guys those were just the sort of helpful leads I was hoping for. I'm especially grateful to you rabbitz for being so kind in assuming I'd be able to follow a manual and fix the problem myself......I can't even think were to begin telling you wats wrong with that idea ha ha :D Cheers guys I'll...

Ruger no1 gunsmithing
I have a ruger no 1 that is not ejecting cases, spent or still loaded. It apears that wen the lever is lowered, the extractor slips slightly sideways instead of pulling straight back and thus slips it's grip on the case rim thereby not ejecting the case from the chamber. Wen the breach block is lowe...

Re: Win 45gn Hp Projectiles
Ha ha cheers. That is a very generous offer. I actually ordered some today. Can't be that bad and for the money they will work for me. I only want them for a 22k hornet which I use on farm and under light.
Yep I'll give you a report wen I get going.

Re: .20 Ackley Bee
Thanks Johnno, I am a member on saubier but thought Id ask here in oz first to see if someone down under had one as I am not super confident as to how to go about ordering dies and reamer let alone dies that will match said reamer!
