Re: Range finder
The Aldi one works, if you can see the target animal - you can range it.crackers17 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 14, 2020 8:10 pm Would it need to be top of the line or the old Aldi one do the job
The difficulty is trying to read an unlit LCD screen / trying to see your target with a backlit screen.

Roof mount or window waving/suction cup mount? Powerbeam all the way for a through the roof mount - far far better design of handle and a folding mechanism. Light force also fit onto a powerbeam roof mount. From what I have read, it needs an adaptor doesn't it Mark? Only reason I have put off grabb...

Re: Fiocchi primers 204R
No experience with Fiocci primers mate, but I would think that a few "test" loads should do the trick.
I am sure I am not saying anything you dont already know.
As with any change of components a re-evaluation of the load and a load test should be conducted.

Re: Induction annealer
Interesting side note. I didn’t want to put the case too high into the coil and cook the whole case. Trialled at 15mm and 15 sec was required. Lifted the case to level with the top of the coil and found only the neck was being heated and required only 5 sec of heating. Trials continue. Sent from my...
