Not surprised that the Sierra 90 HPBT prevailed I used them in a 25.06 for many years and found them very accurate. They were excelled on longer range shots when bunny busting from afar. Rolled a lot of goats at good distance as well.

Back home after a long drive by Jeff to Townsville and then I had to drive myself up to Cairns. Thanks Jeff for the ride.
Big thanks to Dave and his crew for another great competition. Hope next year they all pray to the weather Gods so as we can get in 2 days of shooting.
Also a big thanks to Extra Vision and other sponsors of this event. It is most appreciated.
Good to meet you Camel and hope it is not to long before you take up the 1000yd challenge.
Congratulations to the winners, especially Grant for his record L/G group.
Cheers,
Old-Trev.

Sean,

Trevor and I passed through Emerald, and got pulled up for a license check and breath test on Tuesday morning, early. We also passed through heading south last Tuesday, also early. It's just a bit hard to stop and socialize when you have a 1200k day planned.

On the other hand, you could always follow us south next year to see what goes on.

It would be remiss of the N-D club if we did not thank and recognise those who contributed to this year’s SCC.

First and foremost, a sincere Thankyou to All Competitors (both visitors and locals) for their friendship, understanding, co-operation and assistance during the 5 days of the SCC.

(I doubt if any will ever forget – the Sunday “FOG Situation”)

Without your involvement and help

• Initial range set up and preparation would not have been possible

• Wednesday’s, Thursday’s, Friday’s practise and preparation would not have occurred

• And Most Importantly, given the complicated match organisation (detail order/range officer duties/scoring duty/butts duty/target and personnel transport/BBQ/match pack up procedures etc) –(and yes, some people did manage to shoot amongst all this stuff happening !!)

Saturday’s smooth flow and transition of proceedings could never have eventuated.

Additionally we would like to thank our sponsors for their continuing and valued support of the SCC Concept.

Especially

• ExtraVision

• Optimus Projectiles

• The Corryong 1000yd BR Club ( Thankyou Paul, Tracy and Grant for the HG and LG Small Group prizes)

• “Jokers Ink” Print Shop/Embroidery/Sporting Apparel (Dubbo)

• Treseders Hardware (Narromine)

• Brenno’s Bakery (Narromine)

• Short’s Butchery (Narromine) ( and Henry Taylor who hand crafted the BBQ sausages)

• McMahon’s Coffee Shop (Narromine)

Cheers
Members of the Narromine Dubbo Rifle Club

PS –as is usual, all who attended this year’s SCC are automatically included in the draw for the 2016 SCC.
Please advise by PM if this does not suit.

I'll second that vote of approval Dave. If you guys ever have opportunity to support these companies and businesses, please do.
