Going back through some of my slow motion videos, I now see what you saw back then; the Predator pellet flicked the post before it hit the JSB!
I now see the little chip being flicked as the pellet rose on its way to what would have been the apex of the trajectory at 25 yards where it hit the other pellet.

You had sharper eyes. I was only focused on the collision

The second shot at another Predator with red tip didn't though as that little chip was gone! Just lead vapor there. :D

I believe four or five benchrest shooters here (vying for places on the Aussie team for the next World Championships to be held in OZ Brisbane in 2015) are bringing in some of these rifles in the full BR stocks through Potters Firearms.
To date mine is the only one in OZ. They are now made in .22 and .25.

Rapid Air Weapons USA ... https://www.rapidairweapons.com/xcart/home.php?cat=262

Theoben have shut down in UK. RAW USA are designing the new range of rifles based on the old Theoben Rapids.
Martin Rutterford who was with Theoben for many years built a new factory in USA.

Kind regards, Harry.
