Does any one on the forum own a Daystate Airwolf MCT in 22.

That's moving up market Gav. I'd stay with the HW100s. As far as I know, there is one aigunsmith who services Daystate in this country whom I would trust. He's an hour away in VIC.

You could buy another two 100s for the money you'll be paying for an AW.

Don't know if I would buy one Geoff. I'm interested to try one. Not sure how i'm going to make that happen.

The handful of people I know who owned Daystates got rid of theirs within six months. VERY LOUD beasties.

A bit of a nightmare to service according to the smithy. Seal kits for most every other brand consists of around a dozen seals/orings, Daystate kits have at least twice that.

There are two in their range I would like to try; the new Tzar (FT rifle made by Ataman) & the Griffin, both in sub 12fpe 0.177. Like you I just want a taste. You'll have better luck than me.

Daystate's like Brocock's can range from the sublime to the ridiculously (awful).

There never seems to be consistency with them these days. Old Daystate's seem to go on forever but newer ones people tend to either never part with them or sell them on quick.

As Geoff says they have a ridiculous amount of seals in them & to do them justice when servicing the 2 day UK factory course is a must prior to stripping them down.

And even then, there are only two people in Australia that I would trust with a Daystate and they don't include the former or current importers of Daystate or Brocock.
