Re: tumbling media ?
I just use RCBS corn cob media, get a few stuck in primer flash holes, but not a big drama. Comes in a box with enough to half fill the tumbler twice.

Re: tumbling media ?
So would that be enough to fill it once or twice?

Re: tumbling media ?
What about Lizard litter? The media they use is crushed walnut. You should be able to get it from a pet store or a reptile store. Also it should be a bit cheaper than say Lyman stuff.
The other thing about lizard litter it has no jewelers rouge added like the Lyman media, with all that dust.
Once I use up the Lyman media I'm going to lizard litter.
example below.

Re: tumbling media ?
i ended up getting the green corn cob.[not much else around here. ]
the coffee tin tumbler is working really well on the outside, but isnt doing much in the primer pocket or inside the case....
ive made a new tin and used the hot glue gun to get some quad glued in to agitate things.[and with less media.]
seems to be working a bit better on this lot of cases.
we'll see ....
