Re: Maddco .20 cal barrel
Currently have a pair of Maddco barrels mounted on Savage 16FCSS actions. I will be very interested in a 20 cal barrel for the 20 VT switch barrel set-up

They have had the tooling for a long while, and said in a few months time about...eeerrrrrrrr....... 2 years ago...
They will make them... when the demand is there. They said they didnt have the demand.
I would like to see them make a 20cal as well.
Cheers

Re: Maddco .20 cal barrel
I didnt wait when my MAB order got to like 13 weeks. Kieth Hills obliged in a very short amount of time with a true flite 20 cal barrel and its absolutely brilliant. I think im going to get another in 7 twist 22 cal for the BR as this one is one of the best barrels i have ever had the privilige to shoot through and clean after.

Re: Maddco .20 cal barrel
I got a price of $725 fitted so if you allow $250 for chambering and fitting they compare very favorably

Yep. Prices on their website look very affordable, especially given current exchange rates, and complete lack of export permit fees etc.

Re: Maddco .20 cal barrel
I just got it from Kieth who is one of the aus dealers. Think it was about 500 from memory. It cleans up better than my lilja, but saying that im only burning 24gr of powder in the trueflite compared to 35gr in the lilja. Two different calibres as well but carbon fouling is more prevelant in the 22br lilja.
