46grain

I normally reload my .22 hornet using 11.5gr of ar2205 adi powder and a 45gr bullet, i found i have some 46 gr bullets instead . how much powder should i use?

Drop your charge back to ADI starting load for 45gr projectiles and work up from there.
If you are really cautious you could use the starting load for 50gr projectiles and work up.

HI Gavin, I'd drop it back to 11 grains and try working up from there - those 46gn factory bullets have a longer bearing surface from memory. You may well find they work with 11.5 gns but best to back off a bit when changing a component..
