Missathon 2016 calibre
I was sitting there looking at all my dies (I have a few sets to sell but that is a different post) and trying to work out what would be cool to try nex and it got me thinking, how about we come up with a calibre that a majority of people want to have a shot with at the next missathon and I will get a barrel made? The only conditions I will put on it is it has to work with a bolt face is have and cases/projies/dies have to be available or easy to make.
So what comes to mind?
26 nosler and 264win mag jump into my head, but im a fan of 6.5's.

6.5/300 weatherby would be worth considering if your a 6.5 fan. Could a barrel possibly get shot out in the one missathon? Perhaps that's the challenge for a missathon.

6.5 -300 Weatherby or maybe 7mm - 300 weatherby. Either would be fun.
Wonder if a 6.5 - 340 Weatherby could be done?

Re: Missathon 2016 calibre
I really don't like weatherby calibres, the radiused neck and super expensive brass don't do it for me.
I've ordered a 30 snipetac reamer so that pretty close. Nothing a neck and throat reamer couldn't fix. Having a sharp shoulder it will have less flow than a cheytac.chappo555 wrote:325 cheytac. The ultimate fly calibre otherwise known as my dream build should I win lotto.
I do like that calibre. I have some 183 sierras ready to ship from grafs too.Tackleberry wrote:7mm prac with 1:8 for 195 burgers and sierra 183
