G"Day All
I have just picked up 200 once fired winchester brass all fired from the same rifle and intend on using them in my rifle ,I have chambered a few rounds and they seem to fit fine with no bolt resistance.
Will they be OK if I just neck size them and then fire form or should I be doing something else.
They are .308 cases and were fired from a match grade full bore rifle.
Regards
Damien Webb.

Hey native hunter,
If you are using the win. palma match .308 cases from ebay I have found them to be very consistent. As I have a tight sammi spec chamber in my .308 I found that NONE of the cases would allow the bolt to be closed without undue force, even though some of the rounds had been fired from different rifles. I consequently full length resized every round and had no probs, in fact the full length rounds proved to be just as accurate as the fireformed ones in my rifle.
I agree whole heartedly with rinso, but if you only have a neck sizeing die like a lee loader, at least chamber EACH and EVERY round through the rifle BEFORE you reload, do it manually so as not to crush the necks etc and you should be fine.
Hope this helps,
Regards Alpal.
