Re: Leeton Narrandera Rimfire Supershoot
Hi all,
To help to keep the cost down for people wanting to attend I have been given approval for people to camp at the pistol club. A small fee of $10 per night will apply to cover the cost of electricity and gas for the showers.
Cheers Chris

Hi Native,
Mate I will take nominations right upto the event. We can only cater for 40 shooters so when we are getting close to this number I will put up a post.

Re: Leeton Narrandera Rimfire Supershoot
Have checked my commitments/bookings, all positive as of today, so unless something goes wrong I will attend.
As all who have attended the previous Narrandera/ Leeton fly shoots know, it promises be a top weekend of rimfire shooting, plenty of trigger time, a great bunch of people and apparently prize money on offer as an extra bonus. Did I mention the quality of the bbq steak?
Those who equate/compare rimfire events (long or short range) with hitting themselves in the head with a housebrick should stay away, they obviously have a very limited sense of adventure and would only spoil the atmosphere of those who aren't afraid to enjoy the experience and shoot rimfires past 50/100 metres.
See you there
cheers
Tim

Re: Leeton Narrandera Rimfire Supershoot
Well said Tim, yes the bbq is tops, I was adventurous at my first Leeton fly, Brno model 2, bi-pod and 3-9 bushnell, first group was 14" that's 28moa isn't it? Top day out, recommend everyone to try it once in your life.bowhunter wrote:Have checked my commitments/bookings, all positive as of today, so unless something goes wrong I will attend.

no 7moa at 200 much better than you thoughtKnackers wrote: I was adventurous at my first Leeton fly, Brno model 2, bi-pod and 3-9 bushnell, first group was 14" that's 28moa isn't it? Top day out, recommend everyone to try it once in your life.
Did the same thing when I tried it 3-9 and a bipod, makes holding off a bit difficult when you are falt out seeing the target, maybe we need an under 8lb 3-9scoped bipod fly shoot

Re: Leeton Narrandera Rimfire Supershoot
I'll never forget, I was saying something like this is BS how can you shoot in this bloody wind etc etc, when Clancys target measured about 1.25" so I bought an Anshutz and a 6-20 grandslam, that made it a bit easier220 wrote:no 7moa at 200 much better than you thoughtKnackers wrote: I was adventurous at my first Leeton fly, Brno model 2, bi-pod and 3-9 bushnell, first group was 14" that's 28moa isn't it?
