New Kangaroo Management Plan 2007-2011

Should have all you need to know about the legal requirements. No mention of .204 Ruger's being allowed for the curious. Still need to have a minimum on .224 bore size with a 50gr pill.

Also interesting is that the tag allocations have dropped approx. 115,000 due to the impact of the drought.

Maybe not in NSW, but heard on the radio the other day that another processer in QLD has closed down, they say its only temporary, and due to the loss of market in Russia, but who knows ???

Interesting, 204's are legal here in WA, prices are good and all is rosy for us shooters.

Well apart from too much rain so the buggers are scattered all over the place and not in decent concentrations anywhere, yet.....

*edit*

LOL Camel, did you look at the date of the original post??? Just noticed it.

Yep saw the date, was just browsing old posts and thought I'd put a bit in if anyone was interested. Most of the roo shooters
over this way are just limping along, plenty of roos just not enough market. Talked to a couple from Hay the other day and they
are chucking it in. We've only got a couple of shooters in Hillston now, used to have about 30 back in early to mid 90's, but as usual
they shot most of the roos and stuffed things for themselves.
