BIT THE BULLET.

Post by vicfox »

After using the club rifles over the last 3 years the opportunity can up to try before you buy a Walther .22 rifle. It has been used and owned by 2 club members and the current owner has moved away from the area and the rifle was made available to current club members. It has always been a prone rifle but scoped it up with a spare club scope and gave it a work out over a couple of shoots and found that it shoots well so parted with the reasonable price.

Ordered a scope, cleaning gear, case and even updated the storage facilities at home. Hoping to work through some different ammo to see what it likes with me on the trigger.

This should kick along the passion for the sport and hoping for some good bench results considering the small outlay.

Think I've been lucky to get the chance to try before you buy and not out lay big dollars on an unknown quantity. Not to say I'm about to set any new new records but rather motivated to try out shoot others in the club especially those that have the big dollar rigs.
