Powder prices......ouch!
I have been looking out for 8208 for ages, due to the stuff up that was Winchester taking over distribution, my local ammo bloke could never get the stuff so while in an ammo shop on the weekend I find some and said I will take some before even asking how much.......1kg $116...... bastards!
It's been a while since I bought powder but is that about the going rate or was I ripped?

Re: Powder prices......ouch!
that's ok as the 8208 is 1kg and the ar stuff is 500g then a good country price is $55
most of the fine grained powder is a few dollars more per 500g bm1 bm2 8208 but
the ar2219 is the same price as the bulky stuff .

I found 4kg of 2207 for a shade over $300 a couple of weeks back. It's now in my locker, so I'm right for a bit.....
Re: Powder prices......ouch!
If you can get powder in the 50/60 dollar range @500 grams it is about average over here. I have little choice as LGS are a bit scarce. You get little to no discount if you buy 500 or 4kg.

Closest gunshop to me wants over 65 bucks per 500gm tub for the usual stuff, too scared to ask for stuff like BM and the like, he wonders why the pro shooters dong get much from him.
