There were Griffins I think as well dragon looking things pretty good really.
Some pics of the course, Dad with my 97 ( changing the hampster as the stainless plate was too heavy hahaha) And Dad and JWD in a shoot off on Sunday arvo. Well done JWD!

Nah. Just a sub 12 fpe springer with a chest shot. They didn't battle too well. Probably co u ld find a gym to train in.The Raven wrote:Larger calibre required for the Pikachu thingies.
Looks like it was a great event.
I hear the guy in lane 7, blue cap and the red vest is pretty serious about selling his BSA Goldstar to upgrade to an FT thoroughbred rifle. Pretty keen price so I understand. Send a PM and I'll point you in the right direction.
Ol55 absconded before the springer event.

If you could afford to buy the Goldie you wouldn't be worried about the price of the air rifle.
In my opinion the second or third most desirable motor bike of the era.
Cheers

I think that is Royal Enfield, although now with a more modern engine to comply with global emissions rules. The older engine looked more fitting.stinkitup wrote:Aren't they still making them in India?

Well I must say I enjoyed myself immensly this year at the Nats -Saying that I don't know if the course is getting trickier or my shootings getting worse (probably both) but I do know I didn't knock over as many of those pesky metal critters as I would have liked to this year.

Re: National AR Field Target Champs October 2016
It certainly was great to catch with everyone and meet some new faces from the forum
I certainly ate well with Geoff's Malaysian Chicken Curry & Druid's Cornish Pasties as well as the lovely food put on by the Canteen. The event was very well run, great facilities at the club and the weather was kind.
The course was well laid out with some interesting targets and everyone had a big smile on their face...most of the time
i'll upload some pics later..
