What cartridge?
A bloody good mate in the NT has had to give up Target Rifle shooting, and has given me his Nielson actioned rifle.
Sooo .308 bolt head, single shot.
Whats your recommendations?

Re: What cartridge?
Any of the 6br variants will be highly effective. Accurate shooter as a whole section devoted to them. I would have to say 6bra but as it’s the only variant I’ve owned it’s hardly a scientific endorsement. It’s just like all the other guys making a recommendation to justify the choice they made.
If I was you I would decide what I want to do with this gun first. If you are going to shoot 600br the gun will work at 1000yd br and 500 fly. If you decide you want to have a crack at those then post this in the target shooting section and let blokes who have had many of these cartridges give you recommendations.
I was shooting Jacko’s brdx at narromine. I think he already has the bra reamer for a planned change but there are still many many dashers on the line
