All the verniers I have, well the one's with batteries, use LR44's.
I mostly get them from Coles or Woolies.

If it’s got a battery it’s not a Vernier. It’s just a caliper of questionable accuracy.

Remove the battery and most peoples ability to read them is a matter of questionable accuracy so what difference does it make?kickinback wrote:If it’s got a battery it’s not a Vernier. It’s just a caliper of questionable accuracy.

Yeah, I wasn't worried, they kept up with the email alerts giving me all the info that I needed every step of the way, can't ask more than that.kickinback wrote: ↑Mon Jul 15, 2019 6:16 pm Like I said Mark, I haven’t had a problem with them.

Fitted the trigger after getting it this arvo, OMG what a difference 238.00 bucks make, as I described the trigger before, the old one was gritty rough and had a pull weight in the multiples of 10, there was no way I could have used it with any confidence, even for a rough bugger like me. The new one, while it does have some backlash after release, it like cheese and concrete.
I did have a laugh at their information for adjusting the weights on the trigger, "Have xyz and abc allen key on hand, and call................................??? I am sure with a little fiddling I will work out which screw does what. Either that or Utube and google will get looked at.
