gday all what release agent do you use for DEVCON i have heard nugget a lot so i gather you
use a very thin layer as the nugget is thick stuff you don't want voids in the job ...

That is correct, make sure to cover EVERYTHING with it.

It seems every one I've spoken to has used Kiwi Neutral boot polish in multiple layers.I've not used it personally still working up to it. I also have a big tub of bees wax mould release I used when I was doing RC boat hulls. Works great with fibre glass so I recon I'll use this.

I rember reading on here somewhere I think that who ever used it only had one colour it the cupboard and did not want buy more so just used it can't remember what colour but it worked fine I think. Just got to build up a few coats. All the best

Just use the nugget mate. I have used others including a purpose made release agent and they have nothing over the nugget except costing more.
