Nikko Nite Eater

Post by lowndsie »

Has anyone used or heard much about these!!! I have one on my 218Bee but havent got around to using it yet. It looks like its a much better build than the Gold Crown I used to have. Optics arent too bad for the price but Im looking forward to seeing how they go in the field.

I know they're no Leupy but it'll be good to see how they go as a budget scope.

How does the 218bee go? Ive never actually seen or used one. Had a look at a site to get an idea of the cartridge, looks like it would go alright!

Dave, I'll get some pictures and a bit of a write up about the Bee over the weekend. It's a great little rifle that really got me into shooting. Its sort of in the corner of my safe now as I have my 223 but I'll be digging it back out soon.

G,day Lowndsie, I've got a Nighter Eater 4-16x44 on order from Clancy. I've had a look through one and it seemed very clear for a cheap scope, so I'll let you know how it goes, its only going on a rimfire, not sure whether to put it on my .17hmr or one of my .22's.
Might give it a go on my .223 and see if it cops the recoil?

cheers mate, I just got rid of mine as soon as I saved some cash for a leupy. Its now on the father inlaws 308 vanguard. Not bad for a basic entry level scope.
